Restauration de la belle locomotive SIERRE de 1910


Cousine de la "TIGERLI" déjà restaurée et entretenue par les bénévoles du CONI-FER,


Cette locomotive "SIERRE" E 3/3 officiait tout d'abord à Brigue pour les CFF, puis, depuis 1965, dans les usines Valaisannes de fabrique d'aluminium à Chippis et Steg.


Sauvée in extrémis de la démolition par un garagiste local, elle a été exposée longtemps sur le parking du garage avant d'être repérée par l'équipe du CONI-FER.


Désormais abritée à la gare des Hôpitaux Neufs, elle attend le financement qui permettra à notre association de bénévoles de lancer sa restauration.


Grâce à vos dons, elle pourra reprendre du service et circuler elle aussi au départ des Hôpitaux Neufs, pour le plus grand bonheur des visiteurs de notre belle région.
